DOLORES DEL RIO, FILM STAR, W BURTON HOLMES
American traveler, photographer, and filmmaker, Burton Holmes, photographed in Seoul wearing hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) during his travels around Korea in 1899. Holmes would travel around the world, photograph, record footage and do travel lectures upon his return to the United States. It is reported he held over 8,000 travel lectures by the time he died in 1958 at the age of 88.
