A Mind Forever Voyaging Through Strange Seas of Thought

Steve Jobs on his motorcycle after returning from his trip to India where he met with Sri Neem Karoli Baba at the Kainchi Ashram. Jobs' guru was a devotee of the Hindu monkey deity Hanuman, the god of courage and of learning.

Yeah!

Steve Jobs with the Apple Lisa, the first personal computer with a GUI (Graphical User Interface). Earlier computers were using text-based keyboard commands, and this was the first computer to be visually oriented, requiring the user to interact with symbols rather than words.

Now, with the Lisa (Local Integrated Software Architecture), you just point-and-click at tiny pictures on the screen with a small rolling device called a 'Lisa Mouse' (1983). This small, rectangular hand-held device is the evolutionary ancestor to the modern ipod and iphone.
