The Glove: Robert Smith and Steven Severin formed the band The Glove as a creative outlet. The Glove released one album, Blue Sunshine, in 1983. The album was a diversion for Smith and Severin, who were both under pressure in their other bands. Smith was unable to sing on many tracks due to contractual obligations, so Jeanette Landray was recruited to sing on most of the album. Smith was only able to sing on two tracks.
