SPECTACLED BIRTHDAY
Marceau was a member of the French Resistance in WW2. The first time he used mime was when France was invaded, in order to keep orphaned Jewish children quiet while he helped them escape to neutral Switzerland. After the War he became friends with Michael Jackson, who said he would use some of his techniques in his dance steps.
