An absolute masterpiece. Watching De Niro’s portrayal of Bickel’s descent into madness fuelled by a hatred of a society from which he feels disconnected, should serve as a warning to those in positions of power today that actively seek to isolate, denigrate and segregate certain classes of people by their increasingly insane ideology of holding the generation of today responsible for the sins of their ancestors.
